7 Keys to Identifying Your Purpose

In this episode, Tim shares that reflecting and identifying what is most essential in one’s personal life is very important.

He discusses the keys to identifying your purpose. These provide enough revelatory muscle to help us discover what we’re really put on this earth to do. As we discover and engage, we’ll have a life that is most enjoyable.

Highlights:

05:54 If you like engaging with people, perhaps your purpose has something to do with others in being in some sort of regular engagement with people.

09:32 Know what you’re doing, that is how I can get satisfaction. If you don’t know what you’re doing, get to another purpose because that is not working.

14:20 If you started out in something and you found out this isn’t it, it’s okay to change your mind and do something else. You don’t have to go in perpetuity in doing something that brings you misery. That’s not a part of your purpose.

22:44 Skill is developing the right way to do it and with repetition you get better and more refined. After you get skilled, you become an expert at that. Competent, skilled then expert.

26:19 You are living right now and that thing that makes you live is a divine essence in you and it gives you insight to what your purpose is.

30:54 Past experiences helped to guide me to purpose.

38:33  Purpose is not to destroy you, it’s to maximize your soul so that you can maximize your impact on others. If you keep coming back to something that’s bringing misery to your life, that’s not the purpose for you.
